A Helping Hand

- Comprehensive health insurance in Kollam and Alappuzha

- Free treatment for cancer-affected children
- Rs. 15 crore to fight cancer in children
- Rs. 750 as mess allowance of students in govt and aided special schools
- Rs. 50 per month for children in orphanages

Something Special

- Support to NGOs opening shelter homes for the sick
- Shelter homes in all medical college hospitals
- Meals at Rs. 2 for Kozhikode Medical College patients

Woman Power

- Board to implement schemes for women's welfare
- Special officers to check domestic violence
- Special finishing school for women

Writeoff Bug

- KSRTC's outstanding of over Rs. 850 crore cleared
- Rs. 1006 crore load write-off for KWA

Green Relief

- Price stability fund scheme for agricultural produce
- Rs. 50 crore more for farmers' debt relief
- Welfare funds for farmers, fisherfolk
- Kissan Sree insurance scheme expanded

Industrial Parks

- Non-conventional energy products park
- Rs. 50 crore for modernisation and restructuring of PSUs
- Industrial park for coconut-based industries
- ITIs to be modernised and new ones to be set up
- Token aid for Vishinjam and Azheekal ports

Techie Image

- Rs. 5 crore set apart as share capital of proposed IT infrastructure development company
- IT allocation enhanced to Rs. 78 crore
- Still under the spell of Smart City project
- No fresh project plans
- No fresh proposals to improve the quality of job aspirants

Power Play

- Rs. 60 crore for Athirappally hydel project
- Rs. 20 crore for a coal plant in Orissa
- New 4 lakh connections and 3 lakh street lights
- Rs. 196 crore for 21 hydro electrical projects
