I came across a great talk about human brain and consciousness. It was a really awesome experience listening to the flow of her words.
The image is from the talk and it is a real human brain in her hand!
Jill Bolte Taylor is a neuroanatomist who specializes in the postmortem investigation of the human brain.
Jill got a research opportunity few brain scientists would wish for: She had a massive stroke, and watched as her brain functions -- motion, speech, self-awareness –- shut down one by one. An astonishing story.
This story she shares with the world through a talk at TED.
Watch the video at TED or videoegg.
